[Draft report and handbill]. 1852 Sep. 20-1853 Sep.

Draft report to the Provisional Committee of the Geelong and Melbourne Railway Company, being an assessment of the suitability of land proposed for the line, and an estimation of facilities, rolling stock and money required for the construction and operation of the line, 20 September 1852, and a handbill announcing the composition and order of a procession to commemorate the commencment of construction, [Geelong] September 1853. Also included is an illustrated journal photograph of Flinders Street Railway Station, erroneously noted as "Grandpa's Railway Station" (the Geelong and Melbourne Railway line terminating at Spencer Street.
